Attention Sea Kayak Owners
All of our sea kayak kits come with our unique waterproof foot switch! This is not a manual bellows foot pump, but a true waterproof
submersible electrical on/off foot switch. The switch comes with an attachment plate, and can be mounted to a third foot pedal placed
on the rail behind an existing foot pedal. If your foot pedals are already placed all the way forward in the compartment, the switch
can be mounted on a small foam block. One gentle press and release will activate the pump. The bilge pump will continue to operate
until a second press and release deactivates it. The foot switch comes with a six foot cord, so that it can be mounted in the front
of the boat, while the pump and battery pack are usually mounted behind the seat.
* - Please note, the foot switch will not operate properly with a "home made" pump system. The foot switch requires
additional electrical components that are already wired into our battery boxes.
Mayfair PRO-LINE BILGE PUMPS
All of our kits come with a factory tested 1000 GPH Johnson-Mayfair Proline style bilge pump. The pump can be run while fully submerged, or run dry without damage. Each pump comes with factory direct 16 gauge non-spliced one piece special order 54" wire leads (not the standard 30"). A quick release bracket allows for easy removal and cleaning.

Lead Acid Configuration (Please allow 2 weeks for ship-out from time of order)
3.2 Amp Rechargeable Lead Acid Package:
This is our economy model. This configuration was created with price as the primary concern. Although size and weight are sacrificed for a lower price, pumping efficiency is not compromised. Our Lead Acid battery will usually provide enough power for 2 river trips before recharging (pump only needs to be turned on for a minute or two after big rapids or waves). Recharge prior to each trip is recommended. Use of this lead acid battery with the 1000 GPH bilge pump will provide approximately 50 minutes of continuous run time, if never turned off. A properly maintained lead acid battery can be recharged for several years before needing to be replaced, and will quickly pay for itself when compared to ordinary alkaline batteries.

Nickel Metal Hydride Configuration (Please allow 2 weeks for ship-out from time of order)
4.5 Amp Rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride Package:
As open boats continue to get lighter and smaller, it's only appropriate that our products keep pace. This Nickel Metal Battery pack allows for a configuration that will fit into the palm of your hand, with the battery weighing in at just 1.5 pounds. A lead acid battery configuration cannot provide 4.5 Amps at 12 volts, given the size.
All of our Nickel Metal Hydride batteries are "power matched" by computer. Each battery pack is composed of cells that have similar internal resistance and voltage, matched to the 100th of a volt. This will produce a battery pack with superior performance, and avoid the problem of one bad cell that prematurely brings down the whole pack.
This battery pack will provide enough power for over 2 trips before recharging (pump only needs to be turned on for a minute or two after big rapids or waves). Recharge before every trip is recommended. Nickel Metal Hydride batteries have no memory effect. This battery pack with the 1000 GPH pump will provide over one hour of continuous run time; if the unit is never turned off (continuous run is not recommended). When properly maintained, our Nickel Metal Hydride battery packs can be recharged over 500 times. Such a cost savings cannot be achieved with an ordinary 10 cell alkaline battery pack.

3.6 Amp Rechargeable Polymer Lithium Ion package:
The Polymer Lithium Ion Battery is the most advanced on the market. It is our lightest and smallest battery configuration, specially designed to produce over 14.7 volts at 3.3 Amps, while weighing only 10oz. The battery pack is unmatched in its size to power ratio, with its dimensions being 3.7" x 2.5" x 0.8". Do not confuse this advanced Polymer battery with the chemistry found in an ordinary lithium "flashbulb" battery. Our Polymer Lithium Ion battery pack is custom configured, and already comes wired with a protective circuit module. The 14.7 volt output of this battery will push the bilge pump to the edge of its capacity, and move a greater volume of water at a faster rate than a 12 volt battery of equal amperage.
The characteristics of the Polymer Lithium Ion battery produce advantages
far beyond those of any other battery configuration. It has an extremely slow
self-discharge rate (when not in use), an extremely fast charging rate, and
possesses no memory effect (does not need to be completely drained before recharging).
It has an energy density more than twice that of a NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride)
battery, and has the greatest cycle life of any battery on the market today
(capable of being recharged 500 to 600 times). An ordinary alkaline battery
pack of 10 cells can cost $20, and may last for 2 river trips. When comparing
these two battery packs, the value and cost savings quickly becomes apparent.

The LIPO CH4S03 Charger is part of a revolutionary new LiPo battery and charge
system. This new charger operates with unprecedented safety! No knobs, buttons,
or jumpers to set!
Our LiPo batteries are composed of 4 wafer thin cells. This new active cell
balancing charger uses a microprocessor that monitors individual cells, and
independently charges each cell to its optimum level. This translates to shorter
charge times, improved battery pack performance, pack life and charging safety.
A built-in LCD display shows you charging information.
The charger’s microprocessor also monitors ambient air temperature to
allow for flawless charging even in temperatures above 100 degrees F, or below
32 degrees F. With the new LiPo Cell Balancing Charger, you simply plug-n-play,
and walk away!
